The Maharshi Karve Mahila Mahavidyalay, Wai is established in academic year 2014-2015. The college is affiliated to S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai.

SNDT Women’s University is the first Women’s university in India. It is founded by Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve in 1916 for a noble cause of Women’s Education.
